Summary:

The article about smoking talks about women and smoking. From the tobacco industry targeting women to risks of smoking in pregnant women, the author states that smoking is similar to a “full-blown epidemic”. The problems associated with smoking are paramount in both men and women, however, with women, it affects reproductive qualities. Next, the article talks about the basics of nicotine and why we are addicted to tobacco. The author also states that the tobacco industry spends so much money to lure young adults, women especially, to start smoking. Lastly, the article talks about the risks involved with smoking while using birth control and smoking while pregnant. Both risks are dangerous to not only a baby, but also young children.

This article is very good. It has lots of evidence to support what it says. I never knew how nicotine reacts with the brain to make people addicted. This article is very detailed. Also, there are so many risks and diseases that I did not know that could come from just smoking. I also did not know that the tobacco industry targets women by showing fit and thin pictures of women in advertisements and movies. Also, it shows how women are happy smoking, but in reality, they are very miserable. Smoking is a very addictive and dangerous habit that affects not only the smoker, but also the people surrounding the smoker. The tobacco industry targets young people because the old people that are smoking will die soon, so they need a new generation to get money from.

In the article what is cancer the author discuses what cancer actually is, some causes of cancer ways a doctor maybe able to find out of someone has cancer and treatment on how to hopefully eliminate the cancer. The Arthur first discuses cancer as abnormal cell that grow out of control and don’t die. She also states that group of cancer cells it’s called tumor cancer cells that spread to a new place on the body is called metastasis also she said the possible causes of cancer and if someone has certain symptoms from cancer then doctor has several methods of diagnosing. Lastly she talks about how to treat the cancer.

Reaction:

The writer mention the basic of cancer and if someone knows nothing this will be a good article to learn from it. I agree with Avery thing that she was saying but unfortunately cancer is often terminal illness. Also she has Avery positive attitude about treating cancer which is good. The best part of the article when she talks about ways to treat cancer.

According to Mental Health on June 29, 2007, by Miranda Hitti, New research find five types of alcoholics. Howard Moss MD says most of high percent of young adult in the USA drink alcohol. Also, Many younger people in the USA have a problem with alcohol. According NIAA from 2001 to 2002 publish survey about alcohol in USA they found five sub types of alcoholics which is the young adult subtype, the young antisocial subtype, the functional subtype and the intermediate familial subtype.

In my opinion alcoholism is a very serious problem anywhere, not only in the USA. People should not drink alcohol too much because alcohol affects the human body. Also alcohol affects our health, for example, liner disease, brain damage, cancer, and risk for women when she is pregnant. First, drinking alcohol too much affects social life for humans. Moreover, its effect is to increase crime and increase divorce; it also affects teen behavior. The thing that people have more trouble with when they drink alcohol is finance problem; that is it lets the people lose their money. However, health center and social centers should make education for people and explain how alcohol affect them. Finally, government should make strick rules for people who drink underage and protect teens from this problem.

The USB storage will also help people to save a lot of information.

It is great that USB storage is very important for people. I am interested in that, we cannot do anything without USB. For example, when I want to write anything about my school or my work, I use USB to save it. It is very important to pick up USB with you always. Today, most schools in the world give their student USB to save homework. I sometimes use it to save my homework. For example, It has a big size to save a lot of information. However, it has a disadvantage; for example it is easy to lose because it is very small size. Also, it supports me any where; I cannot do some things with it.

I went to this website and it talk about some kind of food which is taboo.Food taboos is diffrent from culture to culture,some food taboos are obvious - you don’t eat poisonous food (poisonous flowers for instance).Also Food taboos can be based on religious beliefs. For example, Muslims and Jews can’t eat pork.There is alot of food taboos in some countries but not taboo in other countries.Also what people think about people who eat this food taboos.



In my opinion some of these kind of food it's very bad for people health. also some people eat food taboos and its taboo in there religion. should evry budy pay atintion for any food and see what kind os this food because some people they eat and dont think about this eat it is taboo or not. also put spical resturants for each people like: people who eat pork go to spical resturant.
